Looking to make a new-character playthrough server

Hi. I am looking to come back to the game for a playthrough of the game, and to have a fun time doing it.

Later today, I am going to host a 2-4 player co-operative playthrough server. I'll take just about anyone, but I'll have some basic ground rules:

1. Characters must be brand new.

There are some exceptions to this. You can bring in any vanity gear you desire. That's right, if you want to be Mario or Link or bring your ninja outfit, that's fine and even recommended....

Lost Cloud Data

I was just playing and it closed me out, and when I went back into my cloud world, it said something like, "Would you like to update this world with cloud or local save?" I was confused so I just hit cloud and I lost hours of playtime. Is there anyway I can get back what I lost?

Here is the deal: Every day, unless time or connection intervenes, I'll add more textures. It is up to you whether you'll provide feedback and what it will be. This way the thread will hopefully stay fresh and keep people interested. I'm open to suggestions, but demands will be pointed and laughed upon. This will be released as a full-fledged texture pack, once enough textures have been made. All of the sixteen hundred textures will be done sooner or later.

If you could add a Enemy, Boss, Weapon or Armour, what would it be?

Would the Armour be available to New Players or be for Hardmode?
What would the boss look like, Will he be easy or frustratingly hard?
Will the Enemy be for Hardmode, Normal Mode or be like a like a rare spawning Mini boss?
How will the Weapon act? Would it be Overpowered, Drop from your own Boss or be a Normal Weapon?

Here it finally is, made from scratch to fit the newest update. All of the 30 tracks are changed to 8 bit pony-themed music (...or are they?).​

What's changed since previous versions? Alot! The layout of tracks is completely diffirent, better fitting the themes of original Terraria.​

PC shutting down randomly while in game.

TLDR version:
Pc randomly shutting down while playing terraria, and only terraria as if it was overheating. but temps are fine.

Long version:
Over the past few days I've had constant issues with my pc randomly shutting down after around 25 minutes of playing Terraria. So far this issue is only present for the one game. At first I thought that temps or voltage may be an issue, but after watching HDD, SSD, RAM, CPU and GPU temps and voltages while playing nothing even reaches the...

This role play is about being kings and queens, or guards or knights, or princes or princesses, of a certain biome! You may pick any biome you like. To be a King or queen you must ask me first.

Hello everyone. I've been playing with a friend on another server, but unfortunately he lost interest before we even got to Hardmode, so I'm looking to pick up with another/others who are casually going about doing the same. The reason for this primarily being that I only have opportunity to play for a few hours in the evenings and on weekends, so it really won't do me much good to have everyone else rushing ahead while I am offline! I do know there is a bit of a time-crunch after triggering...
