Hello fellow Terraria addicts! I was wondering if there is a mod I can use to add an in game recipe book. I know I can just talk to the guide, but sometimes he is very far away leaving me to tab out and google it. I found an older one that hasn't been updated since 2.1.1 and the thread has been dead for like 2 years. I'd appreciate it if someone with reply with some good news! (this is where you say it's gonna be in 1.3!!!!)

Well, yes, i'm back.

Its been perhaps a year or two since I last played Terraria, and I only got back into it as I downloaded it for the PC version in the steam summer sale. I had played quite a while before the mobile version came out, and I was one of the first to post about it :). I used to be a purely X-Box Terraria player, but I have hence played mobile and PC. Be sure to expect posts about my new all items shop coming soon for pc <3.

I'm not joking. Terraria, in my opinion should be kept as one (And one only!) game that keeps to the pixelly artistic style that we've all come to love.
I feel this whole game is going to bork. Doesn't anyone feel the same? Sequels that change the complete look of the game is bound to fail.

If you could add a Enemy, Boss, Weapon or Armour, what would it be?

Would the Armour be available to New Players or be for Hardmode?
What would the boss look like, Will he be easy or frustratingly hard?
Will the Enemy be for Hardmode, Normal Mode or be like a like a rare spawning Mini boss?
How will the Weapon act? Would it be Overpowered, Drop from your own Boss or be a Normal Weapon?
You Decide, Post a Reply saying what you would add into Terraria if you could do it!

Random game exits to main menu

The game randomly stops mid game (at no particular place or screen) and returns me to the home menu screen. Most of the time it also then says "unfortunately Terraria has stopped working".

This seems to happen every few minutes most of the time.

Strange Weapons (Sort of)

If you've never played TF2, I'll explain.
A strange weapon is a weapon that tracks your kills, and is more rare.
Something like this as example.
Excalibur
1,500 Kills
15% Critical Strike Chance
47 Melee Damage
Average Knockback
Fast Speed

Now, the reason for making the title orange, is because stranges should have an orange rarity....

Gold/platinum crown crafting nerf

Hi, don't you think the crafting recipe for the gold/platinum crown is way too expensive?

It requires 30 gold/platinum bars to craft (120 ores). Knowing that it's not only a vanity item (in which case it would be OK as one doesn't simply craft tons of the same vanity item), but it's also and more importantly a summoning item for the King Slime.

This means that each time you want to summon the King Slime, which moreover is not a high tier boss such as mechs or Fishron, you have to consume...

Windows 10 Flickering.

Windows 10 Insider Preview
AMD Athlon X4 760K Quad Core
8GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 650TI.

I just updated from windows 8.1 this week. Terraria ran fine before, no issues. Now that I'm using Windows 10 I'm getting this constant flickering. I'm not sure what settings I can change to fix it. I've tried forcing opengl but it only seemed to make things worse. Steam FPS meter shows it running at about 60 fps on high settings and about 200fps on low. I've set the frame skip to on, and then off to...

Lost Girl/Nymph found

Hello there! When I was mining in a underground snow cave I discovered a very rare hostile mob called a Lost Girl, Its mean't to fool new players hoping for a new NPC, but it becomes a Nymph and attacks, I nearly got fooled by one since I'm new to Terraria, at least I searched it up before approaching it.

I managed to take a screenshot of it standing next to my death point, here it is! :)
