Is it just me or has bloodmoon become way more frequent?

Ever since the few recent updates, i am getting bloodmoon like "almost" every night, doesnt happen multiple nights in a row, but alot of bloodmoon in the last few days in general, just now, i had 2 bloodmoon in a row, and.... anyway, it has become more frequent, so frequent that a player can tell. Was this part of changes done by the patches, or was i just really really lucky or unlucky, depends on how you see it. And is anyone else having the same issue?

What're the most useless items in Terraria?

There are some items that everyone and their dog uses as soon as they have access. There are other items that find themselves situationally useful. Then there are items that are totally good-for-nothing, not even for crafting ingredients, with absolutely no redeeming qualities at all.
Not even for decoration. Not even for anything.

I nominate the Flask of Fire and Pink Thread.

Seriously, I'm surprised nobody posted anything about this. Homing weapons really should home in on other players with PVP activated.

For those that don't know what the title means.. I'll just tell you what it means in a few short sentences. Hardcore, softcore, medcore are modes you can choose when creating you character. Hardcore means you drop items on death while softcore means you only lose money. For "Expert" or "Normal". Normal means terraria is alot easier with less items but expert is 10x harder (idk) but its harder and theres alot more items. Finally classes means you stick with melee or mage or range or...

As some know by reading my Introduction, I play PS3 Terraria. I just started a few days ago, but I have the slight advantage of Youtube (Yes, I watched a bit of youtube so I know how to make torches atleast.) I don't know TOO much about terraria, but what I do know is that there are clans. I would appreciate joining any clan needed, and would love to assist in whatever task is needed.
