Terraria Not Starting

Hi! I have a weird problem.

So, I've been playing Terraria since 2012 through Steam. I've always had lag but it's gotten worse recently. So, I went online to look for ways to make it run faster. One of said ways was to change the OS compatibility settings from Windows 10 to (I think) Windows XP 3(?). So, I did just that, through the task manager. You see, the thing is, I closed the game to try and refresh the settings... And now it won't open. And it's a weird kind of "won't open". On...

Terrafirma is the original mapping program for Terraria. The first version was released May 23rd, 2011. (Terraria was released May 16th, 2011).

View your world, search for blocks, search for chests containing a specific item. View your kill counts so you can plan your banner collection.
Works in Windows, OSX, and Linux.

Solidified Potions

Description

Create accessories from buff potions that provide the same benefits but with infinite duration. Further combine these accessories into custom combinations to create truly powerful pieces of equipment.

Basic solidified potions for nearly every buff can be made at any placed bottle. Combining the solidified potions themselves requires an Alchemy Table obtained from the Dungeon. Right-click an Alchemy Table to open the reforge-like interface.

The mechanical bosses are the first bosses you fight when you get into hardmode, (unless you are crazy and do fishron first) and are an important step in progressing through the game. The common sequence would be to kill the destroyer with a good repeater or daedalus stormbow, and then take down skeletron prime and the twins next, with weapons that suit your class. Sorry, too dramatic for you? Nevermind, I'm not that good at intros to suggestions anyway. This is a suggestion for a new hardmode enemy that can be found in the ocean.

Wonky Image Uploading Tendancies

Whenever I upload an image, nothing initially appears to happen. However, when I refresh the page, all of the images that were uploaded suddenly show up properly. This is merely annoying,

However, today there was an image that I couldn't upload at all for some reason. I tried to upload, those little loading bars came up, I waited a bit, and then I refreshed the page. But it still wasn't there. I didn't receive an error message, or anything, and the image is a png of ~6mb, with the maximum...

character does`nt work

Today, when i went to play terraria, i was not able to choose my character. the portrait was gone, and it said that i only had 100 health (witch dont), and 0 mana.

I was able to create a new character that worked fine, and play with my worlds. Earlier i was able to play fine with no problem. I hope you can fix this. I really want my character back.
i have tried everything, to get it work



P.S. I have mods installed, if that matters

I made a similar post to this on Terraria Online, but figured I'd make it here too. The idea is humorously terrible ideas for Terraria, or ideas that make an amount of sense but would never work in practice.

I'll get us started...

* The "beginning of the end "actually IS potentially the end of the world. Fail to defeat the celestial towers in a short enough time, or get defeated by Moon Lord? Your world is deleted.

* Three silver bullets kills werewolves, regardless of actual damage...

I am LeeTG3, and this is the Terralands mod, I made this mod to learn how to code. But I will continue once I am good. I am aiming to make the biggest Tmodloader mod in Terraria.
I really like swords, so there is going to be a lot of swords in my mod.

Version 3.15 for tModLoader 0.9.1

This mod isn't supposed to make the game too easy, but makes it so you don't have to spend huge amounts of time killing the same monsters repetitively or using AFK farms to get rare item like Biome Keys for example. Everything is configurable, so you can adjust to your liking.
